WORLD CUPPPPP!
Finally! all the waiting is over, The WORLD CUPis finally here! =D
Ok, first of all, its kinda obvious world cup brings alot of attention to the world, people who dont use to watch soccer before this world cup kinda got sucked into this world cup fever. AHAS! Of course, there will be those usual group of people who are just plainly in for the sake of betting. But still, WORLD CUP IS the biggest event in the world, much bigger then the olympics in my view.
OK! so lets talk about last night opening game, The host germany, against South-american side, Costa Rica, I watched the game. Scoreline was 4-2 Germany, The game overall was exciting, went back and forth, Germany sure got some players who can strike the ball from long range, thats a plus point man. anyway, the first half, Germany defence was kinda shaky, the defense wasn't holding their line very well, that lead to the paulo wanchope goal, but still, Germany managed a convincing enough 4-2 win. Lets Hope they LOSE!=p
Tonights game, Probably the whole singapore is watching this, Local favourite team, ENGLAND, takes on Paraguay. Tough game to predict for all, Im guessing a 2-0 win or something for england, that depends if gerrard and rooney is fit to play, mainly gerrard, given that crouch is doing so well up front, doubt there will be a change of yet. Gerrard play, a 2 goal margin. =D But c'mon! lets hope england lose also! ahahahas! cause i dont really support much of the European nations, except for holland, But still! my World cup dont start until the 13 of june. When Brazil kick off their campaign. =D ALL THE WAY BRAZIL! =D
Ok, here's some new about Brazil, Believe it or not, Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva jokingly "asked" ronaldo the question is he fat anot. Lula asked 'Ronaldo is fat or isn't he?' Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira replied: 'He's strong, Mr President, the structure of his body has changed, he's no longer that thin boy from 1994. YES! He is no longer the thin boy we saw in 1994 and 98, He is so much bigger size now, but He still prove why he is brazil's golden boy, HE SCORE GOALS. He still have those wonderful dribbling skills of his, he still have that sudden change of speed that frightens all defenders, He is still one of the world most deadly striker. So just watch out for ronaldo! =D
